Program Manager
At the Lab, our Program Manager, Izzy, is an absolute powerhouse! She thrives in the fast-paced environment, skilfully managing the Lab’s diverse portfolio of projects focused on collaboration and debate. The team is constantly inspired by Izzy’s remarkable ability to juggle multiple tasks, keep us laser-focused, and drive progress on all fronts. Secretly, Izzy always thought she’d be the first woman Prime Minister of Australia and she cried when Julia Gillard beat her to it. As it turns out, international development is a much more intellectually stimulating field than politics. When she’s not working at the Lab, you’ll find Izzy with a book, studying for university, or listening to a podcast.
In addition to a career in international development, Izzy is currently studying a Juris Doctor at the ANU. She loves the intellectual challenge, and the way that international law connects to work at the Lab. In a previous life she worked as Oaktree’s ACT Branch Manager and Deputy Head of Community Engagement.
Izzy has honed her project and people management skills with a Bachelor of International Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in German, minoring in Spanish. Izzy is passionate about mentoring and training new staff at the Lab, assisting them to reach their full potential and their aiding budding careers. Every project and person that passes through the Lab is all the better for meeting Izzy’s enthusiasm and dedication.
